7How to use CIRCABC

The Commission's document repository, step by step

CIRCABC is the European Commission's document repository. Several EUDR files are there: the list of competent authorities, the FAQ as a PDF, the GeoJSON format, the country classification methodology and the Information System manuals. No account is needed: everything listed on this page is public, with guest access.

  1. Click the link on this page. CIRCABC opens straight at the document or folder. The first load can take a few seconds, with the word “Loading…” on screen.
  2. In the cookie notice, choose “Accept only essential cookies”. That is enough to browse.
  3. If an “IMPORTANT!” box about CIRCABC moving to institutional use appears, close it. It concerns creating working groups, not reading documents.
  4. A banner saying you are accessing the group as a guest with limited access is the public access and is normal. There is no need to log in.
  5. On a document page, check the title, the last-modified date and the version. To download, go to the actions area below the details and click the download icon (an arrow pointing down).
  6. To see everything the Commission has published in the same folder, click the folder name in the breadcrumb at the top (for example, “Regulation on deforestation-free products”). The list shows when each file was last modified.
  7. The globe icon at the top right changes the interface language. The documents themselves are generally in English only.
